- Canton: Schwyz: the cantonal fire ban in forests and at forest edges (§ 14a KWaG, since 10.07.2026) is lifted as of 28.08.2026 (Official Gazette AL-SZ15-0000000081); since 16.09.2026 only a warning to handle fire carefully applies according to the federal portal — fires only in fixed fire pits, refrain from fireworks and sky lanterns near forests.
